When it's 3 am and your on your break at work..............BLOG

Tyler:

SEP's were this week and it was nice to go and listen to all the teachers tell me what a great kid he is and how well he is doing in school and also to tell me how talkative he is. Good to know he is a normal teenage boy, who has been growing like a weed the last couple of months! We already need to go and find him some new shoes since he is growing out of the shoes I just bought him for school in August! Football has been going well and his team is indefeated so far with one more season game to go! I hope they can go a repeat of last year and take the superbowel again. Tyler has been a great help to me and Ryan and took the kids and an Halle's friend Helen for about 6 hours so Ryan and I could go to dinner and the BYU game together. I was pretty fun to get home around 12:30 am with all the kids still up and Tyler telling me how tired he was, but the house was spotless and the kids were alive so he did an excellent job. Even though he had to call and tell me Emery had put a dent in Halle's finger by biting it. A testament to why 3 years olds shouldn't stay up until midnight! 8th grade has been going well for Tyler and he is enjoying his friends and classes.

Treven:

Treven's SEP is always fun because every year he makes his teachers fall in love with him even though we have a lot to work on he never has a problem being loved by his teachers and surrounded by friends. Treven has grown leaps and bounds and his reading has really improved this year, thank you to wonderful teachers and his tudor Deanne! Not only is Treven growing in his academics but man this kids is growing taller and eating like a horse, we love it! Treven has been going really well in piano, football, and soccer. Last night he had a soccer game and got to finally try out his goalie gloves that he got for his birthday, and boy did they work well for him! He has been my little google monster and comes home every day with something else for us to google and find out why this is or how that works. He has met some new friends this year and along with his other friends we usually have a crew of 4 or more hanging out at the house.

Halle:

Halle's SEP was great and Mrs. Clark had nothing but praise for how well she is doing. Even though Halle didn't get any of her neighborhood friends in her class she has made a lot of new friends and is having fun in her class. Halle is my little reader and loves to read and read and read. Also she loves to write and write and write. Ryan and I have a lot of notes telling us how much she loves us or if she is mad why she is mad at us and how we need to be nicer to her. Halle is moving right along in Ballet and has already moved up a class. This week Halle had a great soccer game and scored a goal. She was so excited she ran down the field hugging everyone! It was a cold wet game but turned out to be the best game just to watch her be so excited!

Emery:

Oh Emery what a character she has been this week. The girl wants to say the family pray everytime and you never know what is going to come out of her mouth! This week she prayed for the pumpkin patch to grow faster so we could get some pumpkins at our house, she prayed for mom to go to work so Janette could come and babysit, she asked for snow on the toe mountians, she prayed that mom wouldn't run over skip and kill him, and last that we could go down to the new house (aka St. George condo) and that mom would come this time (I miss one trip due to work and she will not let it go!). Emery is still going to preschool even though she keeps telling me she is done and doesn't need to go anymore. Lucky for me that once you get her dropped off she has the time of her life! Emery has been mom's little buddy all day with the rest of the kids at school and it is nice to have a little down time with her since the rest of the day belongs to the other kids with homework, sports, and friends.
