General Conference Fun....

The first weekend in October brought General Conference and a lot of great weather for some fun activities! Ryan, Holly, Brad, Lezlee and I got to start the weekend off right by going to do a session at the Provo Temple then out to eat while the kids got to play with the cousins for a couple of hours. Saturday was the first Saturday in a long time that we didn't have any sporting events to go to so we spent some time getting stuff done around the house and for Grandpa Niel. We headed up the canyon to Grandpa's property to bring back some picnic tables. The girls had picked some acrons over at the neighbors house for the squirrels so they dropped them off for the squirrels up at the property!

After getting some lawns mowed and the picnic tables dropped off we went down to Jaker's pumpkin patch for some fun with Luke and Cole getting a hayride, playing in the dried kernals, going down the tube slides, and then getting to pick out our pumpkins! Oh, and who could forget the teacup piglet that we all wanted to take home, and found out the Llamas do spit!

Ryan thought it would be funny to put the kernals in all the kids shoe when they weren't looking, but guess who got that favor back to them, um thats right me! Instead of getting uncle ryan back the got me back and it was fun trying to get all the kernals out of my purse!

Sunday in our PJ's! We all love Conference Sunday it means good homemade breakfast, tents made to watch Conference in, spending all day in our PJ's, listening to wonderful and uplifting talks (that is when the kids aren't fighting or talking loudly), and this year we had a special treat and had Halle's friend Helen with us during the day. After eating dinner down at Grandma and Grandpa Averett's we headed back for the second session and then it was pumpkin painting time after the session.

To top off the weekend we had a wonderful Spa night for FHE on Monday night! We found out something we didn't know, that Treven is actually a really good nail painter and Janetter got to go to school with lovely purple fingernails!
