June Maddness....

During June Emery found a new best friend to hang out with at Treven's games, Swayer Grover. She had a blast getting into trouble with Swayer.

Halle was busy in June with T-ball, Swim lessons (she now can swim all by herself and loves to jump off the divingboard), and then a princess dance camp she went to with her friends. The girls had a fun time learning new dance moves and doing a lot of princess stuff.

With the hot weather in full swing we got to take Steve's boat out a couple times and loved having our time out on the lake watching the kids swim, kneeboard, wakeboard and the ever popular tubing.

Treven got to do his first Pinewood Derby for scouts and have a blast making the car with dad and then getting to race the car. Treven had a hot wheels car for his model and Ryan went to work cutting in as closely as he could to match the car. Then came the paint job and Treven did a wonderful job making his car the "Best Paint Job" winner.

Along with a lot of baseball, Tyler was keeping busy with Golf camp and then his week away at Timberline Scout Camp. Mom was sad to have Tyler gone for a week but Tyler couldnt' have been any more excited about leaving. But when Ryan and mom made it up to Timberline to pick up Tyler there was a very dirty, smelly, smiling boy running to his mom! I did get a much needed hug from my boy. Tyler gave us the run down of the week and let us know that he did get a little homesick by weds but then Thursday and Friday were a blast and he forgot to be homesick until Saturday came and he couldn't wati for us to come and get him.

With all these activities going on we still found time to get a lot of friend playing time, swimming at seven peaks and other pools, going up to Jolleys ranch, and my favorite activity was watching Tyler and Treven build a boat from scratch and then taking up the canyon to see if it would float. Lets just say that Tyler and Treven were a little heavy for the boat and made it sink, but it would have been a great boat for Emery!
