May Adventures......

May brings a lot of end of school activities, mothers day, our annual burning of the homework BBQ and last day of school.

Emery was so excited with her Mother's day gift to me and I have to say was the best bejeweled pot ever!

After a year of doing his Eagle Project and finally getting the paperwork done, with mom losing most of her hair during this time, and earning his Eagle. Tyler offically became an Eagle Scout May 2015! So proud of him.!

For the last couple of years I have helped the PTA with their Fundraiser for Brookside Elementary and every year have had a blast. This year we did something different and did a run-a-thon. The kids had a blast, except for Treven who was home with a swollen face due to some orthodontic work that left him not wanting to participate. Halle did great and ran her little heart out!

Emery finally letting me do something different than a pony. Pigtails!! she is moving up in the world and dressed and reayd to go with me to help cheer on Tyler at track regionals. Tyler did awesome and took 2nd in the hurdles over all and 3rd for the high jump. It was a really fun year and then on top of that was voted Track MVP by his teammates.

Treven had a stellar year with Miss Roach and Miss Bird. He was so proud of one of his last projects, his state float.

For mothers day each year Ryan is good to me and takes the kids while I go on my annual girls trip. This year was Park City with a lot of food, shopping, fun, singing, and more fun!

Emery did dance with her friend Suzee. They had the best teacher and loved dancing. The dance performaces were the only time that I could get Emery to let me do her hair in a bun and get full make up on! She is one cute Dancer.

Bitter Sweet, Emerys Preschool graduation! We loved Mrs. Cindee and her preschool. Emery had a great year and gained a new best friend, Letley.

We got to have our two cute nieces over for a sleepover and nail painting party! They had fun getting all painted up and having facials done.

During the month of May our family got a little addicted to the game Settlers of Catan. Treven made me take this picture since he finally won!

I missed Salem pond with the family for our Memorial Weekend. But Lezlee was nice and sent me this cute picture of the girls having some fun before the big breakfast!

Halle finished out the year stron also and they did a cute readers theater. Halle got to read the part of the little boy in the Little boy who cried wolf!

END OF SCHOOL! The kids had a great weekend celebrating the end of school with parties and no more school. The next night was the homework burning! We had a great turn out and a lot of flames!!!
