The kids got an extra day off of school for another Fall Break when the Vernal cousins came out to Springville. The nice mom that I am let the kids sluff school on Friday to go and play at the Provo Beach Resort with the Colton's for the day. But before we headed off Treven and Jaron got the gift of a life time. Grandpa Averett told them the could improve the playset anyway they wanted to. Well with Treven's imgaination they were building a table, spray painting, and color baseboards and nailing them up. Sadly the weather got colder and so this project will have to wait until Spring for the rest of the home improvements!
We finally took off and had a blast at the Provo Beach resort which sadly we had never been too. The kids had fun playing in the gaint playground, doing the ropes course, playing mini golf, and the reason for going was the older kids did the Flow Rider. Jackie went with the older kids and I played with the younger kids.
The rest of the day we spent helping Grandma with candy making and the kids got to play some more. We always love when the cousins are here! But sad when we they have to leave.
I decided to take a nap before work one day and Emery had woken up for hers a little early and instead of waking me up she decided to decorate the mud room. And may I say it was BEAUTIFUL! She spend a lot of time drawing pictures and then taping them up! It did make our mud room much, much more beautiful! Oh yes she is into making funny faces when we take pictures now!
